John V. Kozloski, age 90, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2021. The son of the late Joseph and Mary Kozloski was born in Little Suamico. After high school John joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict, having been stationed in Germany. After he was honorably discharged, he spent his career working at Northwest Engineering, Lasch Wrecking and Hayssen Manufacturing as a welder and assembler. On April 4, 1959 he married Mary Dwyer in De Pere, and she preceded him in death in 1990. His many hobbies and interests included: clock making, woodworking, gardening, working on cars, game farming, hunting, golf, the Packers, Brewers, swimming at the YMCA and spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his children: Gary (Roberta), Tom (Michelle), Dale “Buzz” (Linda); grandchildren: Benjamin and Mary, Will, Sydney and Taylor; siblings: Walt (Rose), Carol (Larry) Nifong and Pat Kozloski; sister-in-law Josephine Kozloski.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents and his brother Leo.
Family and friends may visit at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 9th Street, Green Bay, on Wednesday, May 12, from 10:00am until 11:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm with Fr. Paul Demuth officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
