Joann Terrien, Green Bay, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 86. She was born on March 24, 1937, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Lawrence and Cecelia Terrien.
Joann dedicated many years of her life working as a housekeeper for St. Norbert College, leaving a lasting impact on the institution and those she served. She had a love of polka music, as well as a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring different destinations with the J&J Travelers group.
Joann experienced the beautiful gift of love and companionship through her life partner, Lloyd Steinbrecher. They were blessed to spend over 30 years together before Lloyd passed away earlier this year.
Joann is survived by her sister, Pat (Merle) Kulhanek; nieces: Sharon (Frank) Eagen and Tammy Nitka; great-nephews: Larry Nitka and Anthony Eagen; Lloyd’s children: Mark (Janet) Steinbrecher, Paul (Jennifer Rusilowski) Steinbrecher, Christine Sylvestre, Gary (Lia) Steinbrecher, Susan (Dennis) Irvine and their extended families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Beverly (Joseph) Nitka and an infant brother and sister.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, December 30, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery- Glenmore.
