Jeff Christensen

Jeffery Christensen, age 68 of Ashwaubenon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Paul Minnesota to the late Gordon and Jean (Zehner) Christensen.

Jeff loved the outdoors. Gardening, fixing his car or any small engine in the garage and fishing. He loved to cook; grilling was a specialty. For many years, he and Maria enjoyed ballroom dancing. They loved to travel. His favorite place to go was New Orleans, it held a special place in his heart. Returning to eat crawfish and visit with many friends who became like family. He also loved spending time on the beach in Barra de Navidad Mexico, eating fresh seafood at his favorite restaurant on the beach. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Maria, daughter, Christie (Mark) Dohse and son, Jeffery Christensen II. Jeff is further survived by his brother Mark (Stephanie) Christensen as well as a niece, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere beginning at 3:00pm. There will be a sharing of memories at 5:00pm.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jeff’s entire Care Team at City of Hope for the wonderful care given to Jeff during his stay there.
