Jean Ann Aerts

Jean Ann Aerts, age 90, of Allouez, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013. She was born April 19, 1923 in Green Bay to the late Frank and Ann (Peters) Jansen. She married Earl E. Aerts on October 8, 1946 in Green Bay and she preceded him in death. Jean enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, and going out to lunch with her friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children: Barb (John) Lutgen of Greenleaf, Gary Aerts of De Pere, Margaret Aerts of Suamico and Mary Brick of Shawano; grandchildren: Melissa Aerts and her son, Dakota of Gillett, and Natalie Smits of Ashwaubenon; sisters-in-law: Eva (Jim) Schumerth, Grace (Norb) Desotel, Nancy Seiler, Shirley Aerts and Jeannie Aerts; a brother-in-law Rueben Aerts, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; a son, Michael; a brother, Richard Jansen and a sister and brother-in-law, Rita (Eddie) Laguna Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, November 28, from 3:00 until the time of service at 5:00pm with the Rev. Dr. Ted Tromble officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
