James Virgil Kohlbeck

Our beloved brother, James Virgil Kohlbeck (Kip), departed his earthly life on September 30, 2023, to join our parents, Virgil and Fran Kohlbeck, and brother, Bobby, in their eternal home.

Jim was blessed with a self-reliant and inquisitive spirit that served him well. He was a proud Air Force veteran and volunteered to serve his country from 1964-1968, including 2 tours of active duty in Vietnam.

He traveled extensively and spent much of his working life in other countries, as he pursued his purpose and accomplishments.

He is survived and loved by his brother, Tom Kohlbeck (Liz), sisters, Mary and Deb Kohlbeck, and Amy Gutierrez (Fernando), and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

The family wishes to extend deep gratitude to Vic Schleis, Judy Langenberg, and especially Sami Elnasher.
