James "Jim" R. Boettcher

James “Jim” E. Boettcher, age 87 of De Pere, passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2025. He was born in Green Bay on May 31, 1938, to the late Harold and Adeline (Poirier) Boettcher. James graduated from Green Bay East High School and went on to work at Green Bay Packaging until his retirement. On January 28, 1983, he married Patricia Weitzel, and they had 42 wonderful years together.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ralph Boettcher, brothers in law, Pete Husby and Lee Treptow and nephew, Mark Husby.

In keeping with his wishes, a private family service was held.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to neighbors Cindi Forster and Ed Wiesner and well as Bobbi Jo Dorsey of Care Patrol of Green Bay for all of the help you provided to Jim and Pat.
