James “Jim” Bair, age 84, of Green Bay and Largo, FL, passed away July 2, 2023. The son of the late Frank and Marie (Longley) Bair was born on October 18, 1938. Jim graduated from Algoma High School, class of 1956, and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960.
Jim married Colette Smet on May 20, 1961 and together they had three children. He was an estimator for Moore Business Forms/Response Graphics and relocated to Chicago for a short time before retiring after 40 years with Moore. Upon retirement he drove for the Red Cross and he was an avid blood donor. Jim enjoyed fishing and boating, small game hunting, snowmobiling and relaxing up north at his cabin in Crivitz.
On September 9, 2000, he married Patricia “Teasa” Taylor and together they enjoyed their retirement as snowbirds in Arizona and Florida. Jim and Teasa found their “home” and became residents of Largo, FL until Teasa’s passing on June 28, 2020. In Largo, he found enjoyment playing bocce ball and shuffleboard with other snowbirds.
Jim recently reconnected with Colette Smet and has been residing in Green Bay during the summers. His children and grandchildren will remember his quick wit and intelligence, often winning Trivial Pursuit. Watching a Packer game with Dad/Papa was always entertaining.
