Helen E. Siegworth, 98, Allouez, passed away on March 12, 2026. Helen was born on January 1, 1928, the first baby born in Sheboygan, WI that year to Joseph and Susan (Klein) Gruenke. Helen grew up in a house on the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan. She graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan, class of 1946. She then worked at HC Prange for five years. On November 4, 1950, Helen married Roger Siegworth at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. In 1959, the couple moved to Racine and in 1967 they moved to Green Bay. Helen was an Avon Representative for 45 years, earning numerous awards for her sales accomplishments. She enjoyed traveling, baking, dancing, playing golf, cards, going north to the family cottages, and selling Avon where she met many of her friends. Helen’s happiness in life was spending time with her family, especially her “precious” granddaughters, who were her pride and joy.
In her later years, Helen was a member of the Broadview YMCA and participated in many activities at the ADRC Senior Center. She also enjoyed frequent trips to Sheboygan to visit family and friends with her daughter Sue, who also served as her primary caregiver later in life.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Richard) Laurent; sons Mark (Jill) Siegworth, John (Linda) Siegworth; granddaughters Haley and Hannah Siegworth; sister, Germaine Gruenke; special friend Ceil Mondloch, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents; her brothers, Clarence, Joseph, and Roman Gruenke.
Celebration of Helen’s life will be held on March 28th, 2026 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cotter Funeral Home (860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere).
The family will hold a private celebration of life following the visitation.
