It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen Vanden Boomen, who passed away June 30, 2025 at his home. Born on December 12, 1959, in Wisconsin, Glen was raised by his loving parents, Leeland and Elaine (Jensen) Vanden Boomen. He graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1979 and went on to earn his associate degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 1981. On September 29, 1990, Glen married Mary Borchers at St. Mary of the Angels Church in Green Bay. Glen dedicated 30 years of his life working as a custodian for Green Bay Area Public Schools, retiring in October of 2015. His commitment and care for the schools he served were evident to all who knew him. Glen was not just an amazing husband, but also a devoted supporter of his children's activities, ensuring he was always there cheering them on. He was a big fan of Wisconsin Badger Hockey and loved auto racing. He and Mary are members of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Allouez.

Glen is survived by his wife Mary; children: Kate (Ethan) Dominguez of Appleton and Ryan (Jenna) Vanden Boomen of Redmond, WA; granddaughter Maria Dominguez of Appleton. He is further survived by kidney donor Rick (Jenni) Johnson of Green Bay, as well as brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeland and Elaine Vanden Boomen.
