Gene Louis Lemery

Gene Louis Lemery, age 90, of Denmark, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 16,

2026, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born December 15, 1935, in Menomonee, Michigan to Thomas and Dorothy Lemery. Gene

grew up in Menomonee, Michigan and moved to Green Bay in 1973. He attended

Menomonee High School, served and was honorably discharged from the Army, and then

worked at Lloyd Manufacturing Company.

When he moved to Green Bay, he worked in the office furniture industry at Hermann

Business Equipment and DSS Office Interiors until starting his own business, Warehouse

Office Product. Gene enjoyed gardening, reading and watching old westerns, and spending

time with his family. He was a die-hard fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and the University of

Michigan Football (GO BLUE), just like his big brothers. Gene and Donna enjoyed traveling

back to the UP, especially St. Ignace.

He is survived by his children Diana (Scott) McBride and Jeffrey (Susan) Lemery. His brother

Loren (Irene) Lemery. His sister-in-law Beverly (Bob) Hoff. His grandchildren Kristin (Kyle)

Elsbernd, Megan McBride, Ashley McBride, Melissa Lemery, Jennifer (Mike) Morkin, and

Ryan Lemery. His great-grandchildren Lila Elsbernd, Jax Elsbernd, Marlee McBride, Devin

Morkin, Madison Morkin, and Gabriella Lemery.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Donna. His parents, Thomas and

Dororthy Lemery. His in-laws, Herman and Elinor Pontow. His brother, John (Patricia)

Lemery. His sisters-in-law, Michal (Jerry) Walters and Phyliss Foley.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family. Our family would like to thank

the nurses and staff at Unity Hospice for their support.
