Erleen Grace Zellner

March 27, 1934 — September 7, 2024

De Pere

Erleen Grace Zellner, March 27, 1934, to September 7, 2024. She was born in Green Bay to Earl and Norine Boehringer. She grew up in Two Rivers, where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, John.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, John; children Debora Z. Schwab (Stephen), Brenda E. Zellner, and John B. Zellner (Heidi); grandchildren Benjamin Schwab (Devin), Jason Schwab (Gabrielle), Mathew Zellner (Kara), and Ashley Zellner; and great-grandchildren Jayden and Mason Zellner.

Erleen was very active throughout her remarkable life with her family many friends, and community organization to which she offered dedicated service. She was a 55 year member of PEO and actively participated in bridge, book clubs, Service League, De Pere Park Board, Green Bay Garden Club, and Antiquarians. Beside her love of family, friends and dogs, Erleen enjoyed bocce, curling and birds. Her dinner tables were always festively decorated for every season and holiday, and she was the consummate host. Erleen was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Erleen will be greatly missed, but her engaging smile, quick wit and sense of humor will live on in her family and never be forgotten.

In keeping with Erleen’s wishes, a private family service was held.
