Erin Mary Simpson

Erin was born on January 6, 1974, to Robert & Carol Simpson in Green Bay, WI. She passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2024. Erin grew up in Green Bay and moved to Cadott, WI in 2000 when she married Greg Sopiarz.

Erin had a very big heart and a beautiful smile. She adored her two sons, Cole and Riley Sopiarz. As a child, she especially loved flying with her Dad; our annual family reunions in Gulf Shores, AL; and our many fun WI camping trips.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Simpson; her grandparents; aunts and uncles.

In addition to her two sons, Cole Robert Sopiarz and Riley John Sopiarz, Cadott, WI; Erin is survived by her mother, Carol Simpson; brother, Adam Simpson (Rebecca Havel), Green Bay; aunts & uncles, Linda & Ben Statham, Alpharetta, GA; Richard Simpson, Fairfield Glade, TN; Judy & Larry Blevins, Prospect, OH; many cousins; and many special friends.

Service will be held at Christ Community Lutheran Church, 1742 Servant Way, Green Bay, WI, on Saturday, April 13. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm with service to follow. Pastor John Sell will be officiating. Cotter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
