Erick Seidl

July 20, 1967 — February 14, 2021

Erick J. Seidl Sr., age 53 of Denmark, WI left us too soon on Sunday, February 14th, 2021. He was born on July 20th, 1967 in Kewaunee to Michael and Betty Ann Seidl. Erick was the oldest of four. He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1986. He went on to attend NWTC Auto Mechanics, which he had graduated in 1988.
On October 7th, 1988, he married the love of his life, Robin L. Conrad which he had celebrated 32 years together with, raising three children – Erick J. Seidl Jr., Rebecca L. Seidl, and Dawn M. Blohowiak.
Erick and his wife Robin purchased a dairy farm in 1990 and farmed together for ten years while raising their family and teaching them valuable life lessons. A decision was made in 2000 to sell the cattle because of the fluctuating market. Erick being an exceptionally talented and knowledgeable person, began a job at Kewaunee Fabrications. Erick became a “jack of all trades” at that job. Erick left Kewaunee Fabrications after eight years to pursue a career driving Semi. Erick had done everything from driving over the road to hauling milk, whey, and even campers across states. Driving was in his blood. Erick most recently had worked for Lakeshore Transport LLC out of Kewaunee, WI. A devoted husband, a loving father & grandfather, a generous brother & Uncle, he leaves a lasting legacy of friendships, laughs, and a life well lived. He was always there to help anyone at anytime of the day or night, would give you his shirt off his back. He loved talking and sharing many stories with his family & friends. He always was thinking about projects and things to make his life easier and was planning ideas for their retirement. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family & friends.
Survivors include his wife, Robin; son, Erick; daughter, Rebecca Seidl (Kyle Thorne); daughter, Dawn (Shawn) Blohowiak; grandchildren, Kavin and Liberty Blohowiak; Connor and Liam Novak; mother-in-law, Carolyn Conrad; sister and brothers, Ann (David) Gerteisen; Stephen Seidl; David (Peggy) Seidl; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lisa (Ken) Kelly; Scott (Lynn) Bowman; Steve (Dolly) Bowman; Steve (Jenny) Conrad; Chrissy (Jason) VandeHey; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many relatives, and friends.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Art and Philomene Seidl, Werner Nelson, Jerome, (Lorraine) Morton; parents, Micheal and Betty (Nelson) Seidl.
Family and friends are welcome to Erick’s celebration of life at the Hyatt Regency (333 Main St, Green Bay, WI 54301) on March 6th, 2021, from 3:00pm – 7:00pm.
Erick’s family would like to extend a special thanks to responders from the Brown County Sherriff’s Department, First Responders from County Rescue of Green Bay, and all the Doctors and Nurses that took care of Erick while he was at Aurora Hospital in Green Bay.
