With great love and sorrow, we share the passing of Eric “Fish” Brunette on August 13th, 2026, at age 59. Born in Green Bay Wisconsin on July 26th, 1967, to Peter and Roberta Brunette he attended Resurrection Catholic School, Abbott Pennings High school, and graduated from Marquette University for Electrical Engineering and went on to acquire his MBA from the University of Colorado. In his career as an Electrical Engineer and Executive in Project Development, he worked for Plexus, Syncroness, Alten Technology, and had been looking forward to his next endeavor, planned to start August 24.
He was a dedicated father, beloved husband, and stalwart friend. As a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, he represented his hometown with pride, attending games at Lambeau and following the team every season and often every day, depending on time of year. He was involved as parent in sports, music, and more, and was the number one cheerleader at every game, recital, award ceremony, and was always there with a heartwarming hug. He had a lifelong love of music, attending huge concerts and tiny local shows with equal gusto; he played the piano from grade school and learned the guitar later in life, then added the banjo for good measure. He was a man with an impressive workshop, a can-do attitude, and the ability to fix or build just about anything. He was quite an enthusiastic home brewer crafting beers so delicious many neighbors questioned he had truly made it, a true source of joy.
He took immense pride in his sons and always treasured time with them often over a pint of his latest batch. Indeed, he especially cherished watching them grow into men and getting to know and see them love their partners. Favorite moments were always Christmas morning, playing guitars together, road trips to Green Bay and anything Lambeau.
On September 12, 2015, he married his beloved wife with whom he shared a love for mountain getaways, time together in their garden, international travel, and hunting Christmas trees.
He lives on in the hearts of his wife Pamela (Hill) Brunette, his sons Paul (Margaret) Brunette and Michael Brunette, his sister Nicole (Ed) Trofino, nephews Tyson Trofino and Owen Trofino and his mother Roberta (Redfield) Brunette. He joins his father, Peter J Brunette in the great beyond. The list of beloved extended family including cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and friends turned family is in fact extensive.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave., De Pere. Gathering of family and friends from 10am until noon. At noon, a time of sharing will be held.
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every one
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
