Edward “Terry” Rystrom, age 78 of De Pere, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 12, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 1, 1942 in Milwaukee to the late Edward S. and Anita (Magadanz) Rystrom. Terry graduated in 1961 from Boys Tech, Milwaukee after graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, completing his four years of service in 1965. On June18, 1966, he married Roberta “Bobbi” Chandler in Milwaukee. In 1969, Terry and Bobbi moved to De Pere to raise their three children. Terry enjoyed spending time at home with his family and fixing things around the house. Whether it was in the house, the yard or the garage, he would try to fix everything himself, showing his children along the way. Terry worked for GB Packaging for 37 years and yet when he retired, some of the people he worked with did not know that his first name was Edward. In his passion for taking videos of family events he always made sure to make a DVD copy for every one of the families who were involved. His love of music knew no end. He had radios in most rooms of the house as well as in the basement and in the garage. And let us not forget when he was on his computer, he would also have his favorite music station tuned in there. He did enjoy golfing now and then, but his family was his priority.
Survivors include, his wife, Bobbi, children; Sue Rystrom, Terrance (Erin) Rystrom and Eric Rystrom, grandchildren; Cameron, Colleen, Taylor, Madison and Brandon. He is further survived by his brother, Cal (Emily) Rystrom, brother in law, Todd Morgan as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Terry in death are his parents, and his sister, Kay Morgan.
