Dorothy Jean Halbrook, 83, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Monday April 19, 2020. She was born March 31, 1938 in Pine Grove, WI to Harold and Gertrude (Rozinski) Siudzinski. Dorothy graduated from Denmark High School in 1956 as the first female valedictorian in the school’s history. On January 5, 1957 she married Wayne and dedicated her life as a wife and mother providing a loving home. Dorothy was a kind person that never spoke a disparaging word about anyone. She enjoyed visits from family, gardening, canning, bowling, and the time she spent working at Kohl’s Grocery Store. Her cold pack dill pickles are legendary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; daughter Julie; brothers: Ronald and Alvin (Butch) Siudzinski and her father and mother.
She is sadly missed by her children: Linda Halbrook & Ed (Doc) Boelter, Mark Halbrook, Diane Heyrman, Jeff & Cindy Halbrook, Lori & Dan Oehldrich; Grandkids: Amanda & Nate Davies, Dr. Chris Halbrook & Dr. Devin Pendlebury, Julie Malinovsky, Kara Halbrook & Donald Lira, Bob Halbrook & Jenah Aschenbrenner, Andy Conard & Stephanie Davis, Jon Halbrook & Liz Siebold, Adam Conard & Nancy Espinoza, Devin & Hailey Oehldrich, Dustin Oehldrich; Great Grandkids: Dylan & Lucy Lira, Sean Malinovsky, Addilynn & Sierra Conard, Dawson Oehldrich and her sisters: Sheila Sopata and Rosemary Shelton.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home- Denmark, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark, on Saturday, May 1, from noon until the time of service at 3:00pm. Deacon Jeff Prickette will be officiating.
