Doreen J. Brezinski

Doreen J. Brezinski, age 72, of Denmark WI, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 with family by her side after a short battle with cancer at Bellin Health in Green Bay, WI.

She was born on May 4, 1953 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Leroy and Maxine (Dixon) Nelsen. Growing up Doreen helped her siblings with chores on the family farm. She attended Denmark High School and graduated in 1971. Shortly after her graduation, Doreen married the love of her life, Martin “Marty” Brezinski. They resided in the Denmark area and grew their life together and raised 3 children. Doreen loved helping others, spending time with friends and family and sitting outside enjoying the weather with friends.

Doreen is survived by 3 children Tracy (Todd) Buth, Chris Brezinski and Kari (Brian) Schwahn; her grandchildren Ashley Buth, Trevor Buth, Brandon Porter, Emily (Cole) Charles, Matthew Kranz, Lucas Perry, Sarah Perry, Samantha Perry and James Schwahn; her siblings Richard (Christine) Sobieck, Mary Sobieck, Linda (Eugene) Dahlke, Leroy Jr (Sandy) Nelsen, Judy Jurczkowski, Terry Nelsen and Carla Kreuger; brothers-in-law David Brezinski, Alan Brezinski and Rob (Rose) Cyr; sister-in-law Sandy Brezinski; many nieces and nephews and special friends Dan (Julie) Brey and Edith Robinhorst.

Besides her parents and husband Marty, she was preceded in death by Marty’s parents John (Claire) Brezinski; sister Kay Calewarts; sisters-in-law Agnes Brezinski, Joan Brezinski, Judith Brezinski and Ginny Nelsen and brothers-in-law Wayne Calewarts, Thoms Sr. Jurczykowski and Ronald Brezinski.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Co. Road R, Denmark, WI 54208 from 3:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm all at the funeral home.

Our family would like to thanks’ the care team at Unity Hospice and the 1st floor nursing staff at Bellin Health for Doreen’s care the last few weeks.
