Donna M. Cornelisen

Donna M. (Danen) Cornelisen, age 73, of De Pere, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Raymond and Loretta Danen was born August 18, 1948 in De Pere. She married Phil Cornelisen and he preceded her in death. She worked for Brown County Clerk of Courts for over 30 years, where she was very highly respected. She also held jobs at Sav-Half Cards, Tundra Lodge and Austin’s (Sal’s) Grocery Store. Starting at a young age, Donna was an animal lover, and enjoyed the company of many pets throughout her life, most recently her dog Gibbles. She gave her whole life to the service of others and will be remembered for her caring and compassionate demeanor.

Donna is survived by her daughter Terie (significant other Deunagelo George) Cassell; grandchildren: Liana and Lexy Cassell; great-grandchildren: London, Lilly and Luna; brothers: Dan (Barbara) Danen and Wayne (Mary Ann) Danen; father of her daughter John Poquette.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Ralph (Kay) Danen.

Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Friday, November 12, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and used according to their wishes.
