Donna Mae Lemery

Donna Mae Lemery, age 84, of Denmark, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 5,2026, at the Unity Hospice center in De Pere, Wisconsin.

Born January 5, 1942, in Marinette, Wisconsin to Elinor and Herman Pontow, Donna grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin and moved to Green Bay in 1973. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1959 and worked as a nurse at Marinette General Hospital. Donna loved gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Gene Lemery. Her children Diana (Scott) McBride and Jeffrey (Susan) Lemery. Her sister Beverly (Bob) Hoff and brother-in-law Loren (Irene) Lemery. Her grandchildren Kristin (Kyle) Elsbernd, Megan McBride, Ashley McBride, Melissa Lemery, Jennifer (Mike) Morkin, and Ryan Lemery. Her great-grandchildren Lila Elsbernd, Jax Elsbernd, Marlee McBride, Devin Morkin, Madison Morkin, and Gabriella Lemery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Elinor Pontow, her in-laws, Thomas and Dorothy Lemery, sisters Michal (Jerry) Walters and Phyliss Foley, and brother-in-law John (Patricia) Lemery.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family. Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Unity Hospice for their support.
