It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Kuss, who left us peacefully on May 9th, 2025, at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 17, 1957, daughter of the late Milton and Evelyn Kuss. She married Wesley Springstube in 1978 and had 5 children together. Donna started working at Dufeck Manufacturing at the age of 16 until she was 45. She then started a career at Krohn’s Cheese Factory (Agropur) until retirement in 2024.
Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother and the heart of a close-knit loving family. A role she cherished above all else and whose lives were endlessly enriched by her warmth, wit, and unwavering support. She was an avid puzzle enthusiast, and could often be found solving crosswords or a jigsaw puzzle. She had a passion for gardening and bargain shopping. She had a knack for finding the best bargains and delighted in the thrill of a great deal. Her favorite time of the year was summer where she could lay outside sunbathing with a margarita in her hand. Her ultimate favorite thing to do was to host gatherings where she could sit and visit with family and friends.
Survivors include her 5 children, Tanya (Sam) Matos, Chris (Gina) Springstube, Becky (Brandon) Springstube, Chad (Stacey) Springstube, and Josh Springstube. 2 step children, Jessica (Chris) Springstube & Jeffery Springstube. 14 grandchildren, Kiana, Alliyah, Dezi, Corey, Valerie, Elenah, Ryker, Oktober, Kyri, Elijah, Austin, Serenity, Elbert, & Aria. 4 siblings, Clifford (Connie) Kuss, Greg Kuss, Kevin Kuss, Debbie Krerowicz and many nieces and nephews.
