Donna M. Belongia

Donna Mae (Courchaine) Belongia, age 84 passed away peacefully in her home on August 5, 2025.

She was born on October 14, 1940 to Marcella and John Courchaine in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. On April 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Roger Belongia at First German Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.

Donna is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roger; daughter Renee(James)Hussman of New Ulm, Kirk Belongia of Green Bay, Denise(Steve)Popke of Green Bay, Nathan(Brenda) Belongia of Shawano; grandchildren Ashley(Jarod)Wilkinson, Andrew(Alyssa)Hussman, Adam(Caity)Hussman, Aaron Belongia, Emma, Olivia and Claire Popke, Micah, Lillian and Levi Belongia; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Sandra Koprowski and Diane Shea.

Donna was a kind, loving person, as she demonstrated in her occupation as a licensed practical nurse, caring for patients in hospitals and nursing homes. She also demonstrated this as she devoted countless hours to her husband and family. She enjoyed knitting and living in the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. But, above all, she loved her Savior, serving Him whenever she could in various churches throughout her life. Her faith in Him was evident.

Visitation will be at St John Lutheran Church, 14333 S Maribel Rd, Maribel, Monday, August 11 from 9 until the time of the funeral at 11am, with pastor William Harley officiating. Committal will follow the funeral in St John’s cemetery. All are invited to a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
