Dolores Clara (Kluender) Springstube, 92, of Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. She was born March 8, 1931, in the Town of Glenmore to the late Arnold and Laura (Schroeder) Kluender. On July 3, 1954 she married Wilbur Springstube at Zion Lutheran Church, Morrison. Dolores was a secretary, a school bus driver for the handicapped and a Professional in Education for the Green Bay School District. Retiring in 1996 from Wilder Elementary School. She was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church. Bill and Dolores enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the country, but her most cherished time was spent caring for her family.
Dolores is survived by her; daughter, Becky (Dale) Derouso, New London; grandchildren, Shay (Kathy) Derouso, Dustin (Diana) Derouso, Crystal (Dave) Byrum, Logan Derouso; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Brennen, Liliena, Fiona, Sofia and Claire Marie; brother-in-law, Eugene Springstube, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 2019; son, Tim in 2014; sisters, Mabel Kluender, Florence Hafeman, Margaret Wendt; brothers-in-law, Ray Wendt, Ken Springstube, August Springstube, Walter Springstube; sisters-in-law, Phyliss Springstube, Sue Springstube, Jeanette Springstube, Marilyn Springstube.
Family and friends may visit at Hope Lutheran Church, 700 S. Superior St., De Pere, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Matthew Baye officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care of De Pere is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Lutheran Church, NEW Lutheran High, Trinity Elementary School or a charity of your choice.
Dolores would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Baye for his caring and comfort, and friends at Bellevue Retirement Community, especially caregivers Dawn, Nicole, Karen, Yannette, Carly, and Anna.
