Delores Mary Kane passed away on July 27, 2026. She had been surrounded by her family throughout the weekend. She was born on September 25, 1937, to John and Lillian (Rozmarynowski) Nesvacil.
Delores graduated from Denmark High School with the class of 1954. She married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Kane, on June 15, 1957, at Holy Trinity Church, New Denmark. Dick preceded her in death on January 24, 2017, after almost 60 years of marriage.
Delores graduated with honors in 1984 with a degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. With her degree, she secured a job at Associated Bank. She retired from Associated Bank in 2000. She then worked in the home health care field as a personal caregiver.
She enjoyed flower gardening, home decorating, playing cards, and reading. She was a sharp Sheepshead player.
Delores and Dick traveled extensively in the United States and to many European countries.
Survivors include her children: David (Victoria) Kane of Caledonia, Michigan; Debra Kane of Des Moines, Iowa; Daniel (Carol) Kane of Denmark, Wisconsin; and Diane (James) Zausch of Glendale, Wisconsin. Grandchildren Britanee Kane, Sam Kane, Amanda (Andrew) Higgins, Sarah Kane, Nicholas (Mikayla) Zausch, Emily Zausch, and step-grandchild Jacob (Jessica) Zausch. Delores is also survived by her great-grandchildren Peter and Maria Higgins, Miles and Colin Zausch, and Theodore Zausch.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dick and infant daughter Theresa; siblings; Lorraine (Dave) Gay, Francis (Robert) Van de Ven; Marlene (Vern) Kummers, and James Nesvacil. Mother and father-in-law, Ed and Emma Kane. Brother-in-law Victor (Doris) Kane.
Family and friends may gather at St. Mary Catholic Church-Stark, at the intersection of County Road NN and Stark Road (Denmark)on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 9:00am until 10:45am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am, Fr. George Daniel officiating. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
