David Allen “Toad” Knuth, age 61, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. The son of Hugo and Verna (Rose) Knuth was born June 18, 1959 in Manitowoc. He attended St. John’s Lutheran grade school and graduated from Denmark High School. He worked as an equipment operator at Redi-Mix, and later in life worked in maintenance and landscaping, as well as helping as a farmhand. David loved cutting on his riding lawn mower, fishing, socializing and four wheeling up north. Most of all he was always giving to family and friends and was always willing to help anyone out.
He is survived by his brother Dean (Lori) Knuth; brother-in-law: Bill Engler; nieces and nephews: Corey (Dena) Kane, Kerry (Lisa) Kane, Megan (Chad) Ristow, Christopher Knuth, Nicole Hermans and Casey (Curt) Scray; great-nieces and great-nephews: Maddie, Colin, Kyle, Jack, Will and Charlie; his special friend Sally Rezash.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings: Dale Knuth, Wayne (Sheila) Knuth, Kay (Mark) Peterson, Connie Engler; niece Mandy Hermans and nephew Tom Ristow.
A celebration of life will be held on June 20, 2021 starting at noon at the Maribel Community Center.
