David Robert Meulemans (Snappy), 65 years old, born June 27, 1956, son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Verhoven) Meulemans lost his battle October 9th as a result of heart complications. He was a 1974 graduate of Wrightstown High School. Dave loved anything with a motor. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed attending snowmobile races, antique car shows and tractor pulls. He was known by many as the detailer as Dave had a passion for detailing vehicles and motorcycles. He would polish any vehicle with a shine much like his beaming smile. Sundays he would relax and most often be watching NASCAR or an old Clint Eastwood movie up in his loft and he could cook…he made some of the best chili around.
Dave most recently was employed at Precision Paper Converting and cutting lawn for the Wrightstown School District. Riding the John Deere lawn mower reminded him of his childhood days on the farm.
He is survived by his 4 children and brothers and sisters: Sharon (Dave) Gilson, Rick (Debbie), Don (special friend Doreen), Dan (Lea Ann), Pam (Jim) Bowers, Terry (special friend Sue), Robbie, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Stephanie Bowers.
Something Dave recently shared…You may see me struggle, but you will never see me quit. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
