David Peters

Dec 27, 1970 — Sep 9, 2026

David (Dave) Charles Peters, 55. Passed away September 9th, 2026. Born December 27, 1970, to Charles Peters (Chuck) and Ginny Storm Peters Gainey.

David loved his Brewers and Packers and wasn't happy if he had to miss a game. There are so many things we're going to miss about him; from his laugh, his giggle when something struck him funny, to his eyes when he looked at you. If you were having a face-to-face conversation, he was all in on whatever it was you were talking about, looking right into your eyes instead of off in the distance. The way he would saunter into the room, with his chest out and that grin on his face, you knew he was up to something. David would light up a room with his contagious laugh and improv jokes that would have everyone around laughing. He was honest and bold, telling it like it was; and whether you liked it or not you were going to hear the truth. He would say he wasn't going to pussyfoot around the problem. We're just going to miss everything about him.

David had 3 children, whom he loved with all his heart: Brandon, Tim and Ashley Peters. He also had 2 grandchildren, a boy, Zepplin and a girl Persephone. Also surviving are his siblings: Rob (Jana), Jason (Jean), Rhea Sneddon (Jeremy) and Rich (Tracy); mothers of his children: Ginger Malcolm and Kelly Peters; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Peters, stepfather, Bill Gainey. Paternal Grandparents Richard and Hilda Peters, Maternal Grandparents, Dave and Rhea Storm.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, September 19, from 2-4pm.
