Daniel Lee Kuehn, Sr.

May 9, 1946 — June 5, 2026

Daniel Lee Kuehn Sr. age 80, of Denmark, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. Daniel was born on May 9th, 1946, in the town of Algoma, Wisconsin, to the late Alvin Kuehn and the late Elva Laura Longley. Daniel married Arlene Mildred Krerowicz on October 23, 1965. Shortly thereafter, Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy. Following four years of dedicated service, he was honorably discharged as a GMG3, Petty Officer Third Class.

After his military service, Dan worked for Proctor & Gamble (P&G) for 28 years. He also drove semi-trucks and enjoyed taking on various side jobs throughout the years. Dan loved spending time with family. In his younger years, he especially loved watching his son, Dan Jr., play sports. He was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and had a compassionate heart for those less fortunate.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arlene; 2 daughters and their children, Brenda Gossen, Tina (Tim) Watzka, his daughter-in-law, Dawn Kuehn, Grandchildren: Stephen (Kelly) Penn, Stephanie (Jeff) Hintz, Jacob (Marissa) Gossen, Jessica Gossen and special friend Clifton, Jennifer (Nash) Strauss, Jared (Erin) Gossen, Tyler Watzka, Tenaye Watzka, Hunter Kuehn and 7 great-grandchildren: Ayden and Brently Penn, Ivan and Stella Hintz, Wells and Reed Gossen and Maeve Strauss.

He will also be missed by his siblings: Rosalie Dembinski, Paul Kuehn, Sandra (Ronald) Tassoul, Dale Kuehn, Marilyn (Jack) Plos, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Debbie Krerowicz, Sandy (Randy) Vlies, Shirley Kaminski, Grace (Jerry) Kroll, Lorraine Curtis, Valentine Schuler, Theresa Hansen, Leo Krerowicz, Janice Krerowicz, Rose Stillwell and Bob Kaminski and special friends Dennis Gerondale and Mike Puyleard.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, Leo Sr. and Julia Krerowicz, his children, Victoria Kuehn, Renee Kuehn and Dan Kuehn Jr., his siblings and extended family members: Ruby (John) Charles, Walter Dembinski, Diane Kuehn, John Krerowicz, Raymond Krerowicz, Frank Krerowicz, Ken Curtis, Joyce (Frank Sr.) Hanold, George Simmons, and Eric Hansen Sr., and two special nieces, Robin Cherney and Debbie Dembinski.

Family and friends may visit at All Saints Catholic Church, 145 St. Claude St, Denmark, on Thursday, June 11, from 9:30am until 11:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am with Fr. Xavier Amirtham, O.Praem officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors.
