Damian Jade Borman, age 22, of De Pere, closed his eyes and drifted away to heaven on Friday, July 1, 2022. The son of Amy VanSeveren and the late Eric Kowalski was born February 17, 2000 in Green Bay. Damian’s family and friends were most important to him, and he touched everyone he met throughout his life. He made the most of his time on earth, working hard in whatever he did. His hobbies were broad and included: drawing, sunsets, fishing, Bucks, Seahawks, Packers and playing football. He had a passion for animals and a newfound love of trying to beat his uncles at cribbage. His family and friends will miss his bright blue eyes and his contagious smile and laugh.
He is survived by his mother: Amy VanSeveren; step-dad: Neil VanSeveren; sister: Madison Kowalski; furbaby Titus; step-sister: Julia Egg; grandparents: Karen Borman; Barbara VanSeveren; Jacci White, Ed and Laura Kowalski; aunts and uncles: Mike (Leisha) Borman and children: Tyler (Liz) Maurer (their children Max and Theo); Dakota Maurer-Just and Bella Borman; Beth Borman and children: Kaitlyn Borman, Hailey and Emma Monroe; Tom Borman; Nellie (Matthew) Leis and children: Finley, Navy, Edie and Calvin; Keith Kowalski; Scott (Jody) Kowalski and children: Devon and Mckenze; Elizabeth (Jason) Westover and children: Kyleigh Vogels, Nick, Logan and Mitchell; Allison Kowalski; dear friend Alyx Crossman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eric Kowalski; grandparents: Gary Borman and Joe VanSeveren.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, July 8, from 3-5pm. A service will follow at 5pm.
