Dale Blazei

Dale E. Blazei, age 57, Town of Franklin, passed away on May 30, 2024. The son of Ray and Dorothy (Buresh) Blazei was born October 31, 1966 in Green Bay. Dale graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1985 and attended NWTC for welding. For many years, Dale drove cement trucks, first for Fred Fels Concrete, then Green & Gold Concrete until his death.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy; five siblings: Jeanne (Steve) Swagel of Denmark, John (Pam) of Kewaunee, Julie (Brian) Chaloupka of Kewaunee, Dennis of Denmark and Diane (Dave) Van Deurzen of Luxemburg; 12 nieces and nephews: Amanda (Tim) Kohn, Luke (Brittany) Swagel, Mark (Erica) Swagel, Lynn Vogeltanz, Kari (special friend Aaron) Blazei, Kimberly (Shaun) Hardtke, Amie Chaloupka, Matthew (Alicia) Chaloupka, Colleen (special friend Logan) Van Deurzen, Kristin (Clayton) Cohen, Tony (fiancé Shianne) Van Deurzen and his goddaughter Erin (special friend Brock) Van Deurzen; as well as step-nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray; maternal grandparents John and Catherine Buresh; paternal grandparents Joe and Frances Blazei; godparents Marge and Don Moens.

Family and friends may visit at St. Therese Parish-St. Lawrence Site, Stangelville, on Thursday, June 6, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
