Clement (Clem) S. Sipiorski, 91, of Denmark passed away 05/09/23 at home, surrounded by his family and trusted dog and companion Lucy.
Clem was born November 17, 1931 to Stanley and Catherine (Hilka) Sipiorski in Denmark, WI.
One of thirteen children, he attended local Pine Grove School until the age of 14. Clem left school at 14 to tend to the family farm which he continued to run until late 2022. It was not Clem’s choice to leave school but as the youngest son, felt it was his obligation to help his father run the family farm. Education was always a critical part of his life as he went on to earn his G.E.D. in 1983.
On September 25, 1954, Clem and Joyce Heezen were united in marriage at St. Phillips Church, Green Bay. They spent their entire marriage on the family farm in Denmark. She preceded him in death on, July 19, 2016.
Clem was a quiet man of few words but great wisdom. When he talked, you listened. He enjoyed his life in the country with endless views of God’s canvas of sunrises and sunsets, often viewed through the barn windows where he spent much of his time. The sun may have set on his life but not on the family farm that will continue its 125 year legacy and roll forward under direction of his son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Colleen.
Clem is survived by his children, Susan (Wayne) Sipiorski-Raether of Madison, Steve (Julie) Sipiorski of DePere, Mary (Ron) Sipiorski Kossik of Stillwater MN, Andy (Colleen) Sipiorski of Denmark, Ann (Dave) Risgaard of Neenah, and Cyndi (Jeff) Vanden Langenberg of Appleton; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Ann Sipiorski of Denmark and 80 of his milking cattle.
In addition to his wife Joyce, Clem was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers John, Martin, Bernard, Frank and Felix; seven sisters, Margaret, Anna, Angeline, Gertrude, Julia, Dorothy and Audrey and his beloved goat from his childhood, Nancy.
Family and friends may visit at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 3425 Willow Road, Green Bay, on Wednesday, May 17, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Grove. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
