Clark M. Gruber, 88, previously of Wakefield Rhode Island, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Tender Hearts Assisted Living in Howard Wisconsin. He was the beloved husband of Gail B. Gruber for 44 years.
Clark was the eldest son of the late William and Emily Gruber and the brother of Lynwood Gruber and Marilyn Kopecz, both who proceded him in passing away.
Clark began his education in a one room school house in Robesonia,PA. Mr. Gruber was the owner and operator of the IGA markets in Attleboro and Camden, Massachusetts and Lincoln, Rhode Island.
During his lifetime Clark had also enjoyed being a U.S. Postal carrier and was very proud of being a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, Pennsylvania.
Clark was extremely proud to have his 4 daughters and two step-sons have the opportunity of a college education.
Clark leaves behind his wife Gail; four daughters, Patricia Moyer, Karen Matthews, Lisa Winey, Michelle McDewitt; step sons, Dr. Edward Hayes, Sean Kevin Hayes and several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at the Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Thursday, September 22 from 5:00PM until memorial at 6:00PM led by Ann Froelich. Interment in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
