Carol Ann Kreft, age 92, passed away on June 7, 2024. She was born on August 19, 1931, in Green Bay to Lawrence and Matilda (Jorgenson) Kafka. Carol graduated from Denmark High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Harry Kreft, on May 30, 1953, at All Saints Catholic Church.
Throughout their 61 years of marriage, Carol and Harry raised seven children, creating a warm and loving home in Denmark. Carol's primary focus was always her children, and she dedicated herself to caring for and supporting them as they grew. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she found fulfillment working various clerical roles, including Brown County Publishing and All Saints Parish and School, where she was lovingly known as an “honorary grandmother” by many of the students.
In her free time, Carol enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards, bridge club, tending to her garden, and canning fruits and vegetables. Her involvement in the community extended to her memberships in the American Legion Auxiliary 363 and the Altar Rosary Society, where she found joy in giving back and actively supporting those around her.
Survivors include her seven children: Debra (Mike) Menoni, David (Tawna) Kreft, Dale (Jody) Kreft, Denis (Michele) Kreft, Diane (Kevin) Roskom, Denise (Tom) Vogel and Dean (Mary) Kreft; 22 grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Sarah, who is waiting for grandma in heaven; 10 great-grandchildren; brother: Clem (Terry) Kafka; sisters-in-law: Mary Nowacki and Gladys Paul; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her husband, Harry, and parents, Lawrence and Matilda, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Norma (Ben) Malewiski, Clayton (Marcella), Doris (Eugene) Lodl and John Kafka.
