With heavy hearts and immense gratitude for the time we shared with him, we announce the peaceful passing of Bryce Dean Rapson, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 55, surrounded by his family and an overwhelming amount of love.

Bryce's greatest pride and deepest joy was the beautiful family he built with his beloved wife, Connie, and their children, Peter and Vanessa. They were the center of his world, and everything he did was rooted in his love for them. Whether he was building something with his hands, fixing what was broken, helping someone in need, or simply spending time together, Bryce found his greatest happiness in caring for the people he loved.

Born and raised in Canada, Bryce carried his Canadian roots with him even after making first Illinois then Wisconsin his home. No matter where life took him, the values that defined him, kindness, humility, hard work, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved never changed.

Bryce was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcomed. He had a tough exterior, a signature dry sense of humor, and the softest of hearts. Quiet by nature, he never sought the spotlight, but once he began telling a story, you knew you were in for a good one. He was funny, kind, hardworking, and endlessly dependable, a man who showed his love through his actions.

A skilled engineer by trade and a craftsman at heart, Bryce took pride in creating, repairing, and improving anything he could. He adored his four dogs, enjoyed working on cars, loved a good movie, a bowl of ice cream and could always be counted on for a story that was sure to be longer than expected, but always worth listening to.

Bryce will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Connie; his children, Peter and Vanessa; his four faithful dogs; his parents; his brothers; his extended family; and the many friends and neighbors whose lives were made better by knowing him.

Family and friends may gather for a celebration of Bryce's life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Cotter Family Gathering Center in Wrightstown (518 Meadow Ln. Wrightstown, WI 54180).

The world is a little quieter without Bryce, but the love he built, the lessons he shared, and the memories he created will live on forever.
