Bruce W. Blom, age 77, of De Pere, passed away March 27, 2022 with his children by his side. The son of the late Gustave and Gladys Blom was born November 27, 1944 in Seymour. He married Pat Hibbard on March 27, 1982 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. Bruce owned and operated his own auto body shop and his passion for the craft was evident in his attention to detail and through teaching at NWTC for several years. Bruce was an avid golfer and long-time member at Hilly Haven. He also enjoyed attending the Iola Car Show, a good hand of sheepshead or cribbage and throwing horseshoes.
He is survived by his children: Jim (Tammy), Wayne (Jodi), Suzie Lancelle; grandchildren: Eric (Breanna) Blom and Jamie (Amy) Blom; Breanna (Tyler) Loritz, Jason (Aspen) Blom, Colin Blom; great-grandchildren: Ian, Ella, Quinn, Cameron, Isabelle, Megan, Ruby, Julian; siblings: Lola, Gloria, Judy, Pete (Sandy), Rodney (Sherri), and Linda; sisters-in-law: Lois, Roxanne, Linda and Barb, brother-in-law Steve (Karen) Hibbard; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; parents Gustave and Gladys; son Kevin; siblings: Carol (Red), Sharon (Casey), Dennis, and Keith; in-laws: Jackie, Bob, Tobe, Wally, Wayne, Jerry, and son-in-law Rick Lancelle.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, April 2, from 9-11am. A family and friends sharing of memories will be held at 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Paul Cemetery in Wrightstown.
