Breanna & Wrenn Krueger

Breanna Krueger, 32, of Denmark, Wisconsin, and her beloved newborn daughter, Wrenn Lee, passed away on August 22, 2026. Though their time together on earth was far too short, the love they shared and the lives they touched will remain forever in the hearts of their family and friends.

Breanna was born on September 20, 1993, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Pat and Diana Umentum. She grew up in Denmark, Wisconsin, where she attended Denmark High School and graduated with the Class of 2012.

Breanna worked at Susters and DeGrand’s Family Restaurant during high school, and in her adult years worked at: Bay Lake Bank, Cellcom, Capital Credit Union and most recently Martin Security.

One of the greatest chapters of Breanna’s life began when she met her high school sweetheart, Nic Krueger. Their love story began on May 12, 2012, and from the very beginning, they built a life together filled with love, laughter, adventure, and family. They became engaged July 10th 2020 following a day of hiking (Breanna’s least favorite past time activity) at High Cliff State Park and were married on September 11, 2021.

Breanna and Nic recently celebrated another special milestone as they moved into their new home in Bellevue on July 10, 2026. Their home was meant to be a place where their family would continue to grow and make countless memories together.

Breanna was, above all else, a mother. She was born to be a mom, and nothing made her prouder than her family. She and Nic welcomed their first beautiful daughter, Lainey Mae, on May 4, 2023, followed by their second daughter, Harper Lee, on June 2, 2025. Her girls were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment she had with them.

On August 22, Breanna welcomed their third beautiful daughter, Wrenn Lee, who was lovingly given her mother’s middle name and shared Breanna’s tradition of having two N’s in her first name. Wrenn was deeply loved from the moment she entered this world. Although her life was heartbreakingly short, she will forever be a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and member of the family. Her name, her story, and the love surrounding her will never be forgotten.

Breanna had a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up any room. She was laid-back, kindhearted, and always willing to help anyone who needed it. She loved getting her nails done, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and most of all, being a mom. She was also a beloved godmother and auntie who treasured the children in her life. Those who knew Breanna will remember so many little things that made her who she was—the way she could make people laugh, her quick wit, her easygoing personality, and her ability to make people feel comfortable simply by being herself. Her love was genuine, unconditional, and something those around her will carry with them forever.

Her family will forever smile remembering some of the adventures and mishaps that became family stories. One story that will never be forgotten is Breanna’s infamous moped incident, when her driving skills led her—and the moped—straight into a tree. It became one of those stories that could be told over and over again and somehow remained funny every time.

Breanna and Wrenn are survived by their loving husband/dad, Nic; her daughters/sisters, Lainey and Harper; and their beloved dogs, Maci and Remi, father/grandpa Pat Umentum (Debbie Habeck), mother/grandma Diana Umentum, father and mother in law/grandparents Curt and Mary Krueger, Brothers/uncles Tanner (Paige)Umentum and daughter Raelynn, Derrick Umentum (Future Fiance Payton Sampson) Umentum and son Tucker, Grandma Peg, grandma Barb, Godchild Jackson Gehrke, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Breanna and Wrenn are preceded in death by Maternal and paternal grandparents: Dick and Delores Umentum, Daniel and Arlene Clancy, Richard and Marilyn Krueger, Richard Jansen and aunt, Monnie Umentum.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Aurora Medical Center and Green Bay Fire/EMS. Thank you, family and friends, for your support during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark, Wisconsin. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. St James Catholic Church in Cooperstown and burial to follow in Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for the benefit of Breanna and Nic's daughters, Lainey and Harper.
