Bonnie Louise Rosek, age 67, Denmark, passed away peacefully Monday, June 2, 2025 at home with her family by her side.
Bonnie was born April 23, 1958 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Martin and Betty Wotruba. Growing up in Cooperstown with her 3 siblings and graduating from Denmark High School in 1976. On September 4, 1976 she married Richard at St. James Parish and since then they have nearly shared 50 wonderful years together, raising their 6 children and watching their 10 grandchildren grow. She shared a love for children and opened up Bonnie’s Day Care in 1992. The amount of kids that have come and gone over the 33 years is something very special, the children all loved coming to “Grandma Bonnie’s” daycare and the older ones still talk about it to this day.
Daily prayer and attending Sunday mass was very important throughout her life. She had an unbreakable friend bond that started back in high school. Bonnies other interests included, attending craft shows, gardening, upkeep of all her flowers, canning, baking and planning family cookouts. She was an unbelievable homemaker.
Bonnie was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother and her time to shine was during Christmas where the living room would be full of gifts and the kitchen full of food and she never asked for anything in return. Her memory will be forever cherished through her countless acts of kindness and the beautiful moments she created.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Richard, her 6 children, Rob (Jamie) Rosek, Bridget (Doug) Vogel, Joe (Julie) Rosek, Adam (Angie) Rosek, Kim (Eric) Capelle, Molly (Trevor) Genz, her 10 Grandchildren, Faith and Paige Vogel, Aiden, Grayson and Jackson Rosek, Wyatt and Whitney Rosek, Cash and Hank Capelle and Jordan Genz.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her mother in-law and father in-law, a brother Joey, and brother in law Marvin.
Bonnies Family would like to extent their gratitude to Kayla Guns and the Staff at Lindgren Functional Medicine for their support and giving us more time with her. The nurses and staff at Unity Hospice for making this transition as easy as possible. All the countless family and friends who have prayed for her over the last two years, and everyone who has been dropping off food and supplies. We cannot thank you all enough.
