Bernie Kozlovsky

September 16, 1961 — March 30, 2023

Bernie Kozlovsky, 61, of Denmark, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 30, 2023. Bernie was born September 16, 1961, in Green Bay, the youngest of three children born to Clarence and Arlene Kozlovsky.

Bernie grew up a typical farm kid who proudly worked beside his parents on their family dairy farm. Bernie graduated from Denmark High School in 1979. While continuing to work on the farm he also worked for Maribel Grain and Denmark Coop as a truck driver. He and his wife later purchased the family dairy in 1991. With great pride and passion, he maintained the farming operations until selling the cows in 2019. His career in agriculture went full circle as he once again joined the Denmark Co-Op, now operating as United Co-Op.

In 1986, Bernie wed Ann (Dobesh) at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Poland. They made their home in Denmark where this union was blessed with two children, Becca and Joey.

Through the years Bernie enjoyed many social activities, Snowmobiling, bowling, volleyball and camping. More recently taking scenic rides with friends in their sports cars. Bernie especially loved playing sheephead. But the absolute thing he loved the most was his time spent with his family and friends.

Bernie served as Treasurer on the Town Board of Glenmore for many years. The devotion that defined him was felt not only by his family, but by his entire community. He will be missed dearly by all whose lives he touched.

Those Bernie leaves behind are his mother, Arlene; his wife, Ann; his children: Becca (Trevor) Odeen and Joey (Emily Honnef) Kozlovsky; his grandchildren: Axel & Ada Odeen; his sisters: Sharon (Kelly) Collins and Marilyn (Tim) Mleziva; his nieces and nephews: Jeff (Lisa), Angie (Pete), Chuck (Kari), Amy (Sam), Ryan (Michelle), Rob (Shay), and Rick (Jenny); as well as many other relatives and friends.

Bernie was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, and his great-nephew, Tucker.
