Barbara Marie Murray

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a woman who embraced life with extraordinary beauty, strength and grace. Barbara Marie Murray, 90, passed away on August 11, 2026, following a brief illness.

Weather spending valued time with friends and family, dancing, putting a puzzle together, or taking an occasional chance that “Lady Luck” would smile down upon her at the casino, Barbara was eternally a lady.

She was a devoted wife to the late Daniel, her husband of 64 years. They were joyfully reunited in Heaven alongside their son Scott (Sherry) Murray and daughter Teri (Daniel) DeCook. Barbara is preceded in death by her sister Carol and brother-in-law, Joseph Kotnik; her brother, Anthony, sister-in-law, June (George) Eukovich and brother-in-law Jack (Gloria) Murray.

Barbara is survived by her sisters Lucille (late Daniel) Cadotte and Anita (late John) Jetzer; brothers, Michael Gonzales and Richard (Jan) Gonzales. Barbara is also survived by her sister-in-law Bernice Murray and brother-in-law Pat (Sandie) Murray, as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many wonderful friends.

Family and friends may gather at Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Hilltop Drive Green Bay, WI 54301) for a Memorial Mass at 11:00am on Saturday September 19, 2026. There will be a visitation from 9:00am until the time of Mass. Inurnment will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery (2121 Riverside Drive Green Bay WI 54301).

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund.
