On April 16, 2024, at the age of 78, Barb Kafka was reunited, for eternity (in heaven) with her husband Denis Kafka, after 36 years apart. Her unexpected passing, although difficult for those who loved her, brought her beautiful life full circle. An incredibly strong woman who always put others before herself.

Barb was united in marriage on September 11, 1965 to Denis Kafka at St. Bernard Church, Green Bay. They spent 23 years together on earth, prior to Denis’ death on May 7, 1988, raising five daughters who they loved and were so proud of. She was most famously remembered for her beautiful hand embroidered towels. She enjoyed spending time camping, playing cards, especially Sheepshead, playing Sparkle and going to Bingo.
