Anton “Tony” J. Urban, 82, son of the late Joseph and Arletta (Bertrand) Urban passed away on June 11, 2026, at North Ridge in Manitowoc, WI.

Tony was born on the family farm in Kewaunee, WI, on October 4, 1943. He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1961. He enjoyed the yearly reunions with former classmates.

Tony married Melody (Lange) Urban on December 7, 1968. They were married for 57 years.

Tony worked most of his life in the construction trade, including several years at the Kewaunee and Two Creeks nuclear plants. He was a member of the Wisconsin Laborers’ International Union for 55 years.

Tony’s pastimes included hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed visiting with people and had many stories to share about his activities and earlier life on the family farm.

Tony is survived by his wife; son, Scott (Amy); and granddaughter, Arianna. He is further survived by his sisters; Johanna (Don) Pelischek, Barbara (David) Clements and Ann (Steven) Dax; sister-in-law Darlene Urban Burch; aunts, Ruth Bertrand and JoAnn Bertrand, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, John Curtis Burch, and other family members.

Tony’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to family, friends, organizations, and facilities who supported them and Tony for the last several months. Your prayers, visits and care were a blessing.

There will be no visitation, a private service for family will be held for Tony.

Any memorials will be donated the Denmark Community Cupboard.
