Allan Gene Mack, age 81, of Reedsville, entered eternal life on Monday, July 20, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on February 12, 1945, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and grew up in Reedsville. Allan was baptized on September 21, 1953, and confirmed his faith on May 17, 1959, at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. He attended Reedsville High School, graduating in 1963. During high school, he earned several FFA awards and his childhood passion for farming continued until his retirement.

While attending a band concert in Morrison, Allan met the love of his life, Karen Zeamer of De Pere. They were married on September 3, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Shirley. During their 58 years of marriage, they were blessed with their three precious daughters, Brenda, Tammy, and Heidi. Allan and Karen also enjoyed traveling together, some of their favorite vacations included a month-long road trip to Alaska early on in their marriage, a trip to Hawaii, and a few times at one of Allan’s favorites, Branson, Missouri.

A lifelong member of St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Allan also served on the church council. When he wasn't farming, he enjoyed hunting, playing cards, especially Sheepshead and 31, watching old westerns on television, following the Packers, and professional wrestling. Above all, he cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Allan and Karen raised their family on the family farm in the Town of Maple Grove, where they created many lasting memories. Along with farming, Allan sold Pioneer Seed and Patriot Seed to area farmers and became a familiar face throughout the community. After retiring from farming, he worked as a security guard for several companies. In retirement, he enjoyed helping local Amish families and others from neighboring states by driving them wherever they needed to go. He especially enjoyed the opportunity to travel and see new places along the way.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Karen; his three daughters, Brenda (Michael) Groh, Tammy (Eric) Stelter, and Heidi (Nathan) Reis; his 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth (John), Thomas, Matthew (Kendra), Ashley (special friend Austin), Brandon (special friend Zoe), Victoria (special friend Jojo), Austin (special friend Riley), Alyssa, Allan, Aiden, and Aaliyah; and his six great-grandchildren, Mason, Riley, Ella, Kinsley, Pierson, and Elleona.

He was preceded in death by in-laws, Elmer and Lois Zeamer.

Family and friends may visit at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, 219 Manitowoc Street, Reedsville, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Thadeus Flitter officiating. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
