William R. Steber

William Steber, age 88 of De Pere, passed away on Friday, April 07, 2017. He was born on June 30, 1928 to the late Rudolph and Florence (Kornely) Steber in Antigo. He graduated from De Pere High School in 1947, where he enjoyed playing football. Bill retired from Milprint after 40 years of service, and enjoyed his retirement. He is survived by his seven children; Linda Steber, Darlene (William) Steber-Kutlesa, Jo Ann Van Leeuween, Karen (Kevin) Koenig, Susan (Jim) Boeder, and one son, William (Anne Marie) Steber and Jennifer Kirkegard, 13 grandchildren. Bill is further survived by one sister, Jean Marie (Steber) Rossdeutcher as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceding William in death are his two sisters, Carol Unger and Florabell “Pat” Walters, and one brother, Tom Steber. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 Webster Ave, De Pere, from 9:00am until the memorial service at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Huff officiating.
