William Martin Lesjack, 73, Greenleaf, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 10, 2012, at a local hospital. He was born September 12, 1938 in Michigan, son of the late John and Mary (Nerat) Lesjack. He served his country in the United States Navy from September 20, 1955 to July 31, 1959. William married Nona Olson on June 18, 1960 in Menominee, Michigan. William drove semi for Barry Trucking, Milwaukee, for many years. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Nona; children: Kathleen (Dave) DeGrave, Dawn (Barry) Ayers, and Terri (Dan) Lesjack-Decker; grandchildren: Amanda (Joe) Wiesner, Nicole, Jennifer (Javier) Fernandez, Josh, Erik, Kristin, Alex, Ashley, and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren: Nik, Hailee, Graycee, Jaxson, and Libby; sister, Mary Ries; sisters-in-law: Delores Olson, Sandy Smith, Isabell Lesjack, and Margie Olson; brother-in-law, Raymond Olson; and numerous nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister: John Lesjack, Frank Lesjack, Tony Lesjack, and Aggie Carlson; and brothers-in-law, Reinhart Ries, Earl Carlson, and Vincent Smith. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, June 15, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere. Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Tom McFarland officiating. William will be laid to rest at Brookside Cemetery.
