William "Bill" Prust

William C “Bill” Prust, 37, De Pere, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Green Bay on July 17, 1974. He went to Southwest High School where he enjoyed playing soccer, being the goalie for the school team for 4 years. He was an all around sportsman who also enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, hunting, fishing and golf. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Seattle University, graduating in 1997 with a Finance degree. He lived in the Seattle area until 2006, when he moved to De Pere with his wife, Kristin, and children, Antonio, and Amelia. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joyce and Erwin Prust, his maternal grandfather, Charles French, and his aunt, Phyllis Prust Foral. He is survived by his children, Amelia and Antonio, and their mother, Kristin; his parents, Tom and Susan Prust; brother Tom (Debbie) and nieces, Scheele and Taryn; his maternal grandmother, Betty French; aunt, Linda Miller (Evan II) and their children Evan and Elizabeth; uncle, Ken Foral and his children: Rick, Mike, Mary Ann Hitz, Jim, and Tom. Bill will be remembered for his humor and wit, never one to let an opportunity for a laugh go untaken. Visitation will be on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm at Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 860 N. Webster Ave. De Pere. The visitation will continue Saturday at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Lane in Allouez from 10:00am until the time of Memorial Mass at 10:30a.m., with Fr. Paul Demuth officiating.
