William "Bill" Adriansen

October 30, 1925 — June 4, 2017

William “Bill” Adriansen, age 91, of Green Bay, smiled and built his final home in heaven when he joined his wife Becky on June 4, 2017. Bill was born October 30, 1925 to the late William and Alma (Kriescher) Adriansen in Green Bay. He attended Central High School and was a lifelong resident of Green Bay. On August 21, 1948, he married Becky Carter at St. Willebrord Parish and together they shared 67 wonderful years of marriage before she passed away in 2015. He was a home builder and enjoyed working side-by-side with his brother, Ron. In retirement, Bill enjoyed helping his daughters with renovation projects around their houses, and loved building bird houses. Bill was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed trips to Door County and fishing at his daughter’s cottage with an occasional Bud Light. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend, and was always willing to help someone out. Bill and Becky raised five daughters: Cindy Johnson, Cathy and Marc Bilotti, Julie and Jeff Wyman, Jill and Pat Hockers, Amy and Bruce Gajewski. Further surviving are his 14 grandchildren and their spouses: Lani (Brian) Pautz, Ellen Johnson, Mario (Casey) Bilotti, Angela (Scott) Blum, Brianna (Marty) Jenkins, Chad (Kylie) Wyman, Scott (Christine) Wyman, Megan (Colten) Jensen, Rae (fiancé Jay) Hockers, Matt (Alexandra) Hockers, Christopher (fiancé Marcelle) Hockers, Adam (special friend Alayna) Gajewski, Brooke Gajewski and Garrett Gajewski; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ronald (Mary) Adriansen and Donald Adriansen; sisters: Lucille Britten, Doris Rommel, Ruth Adriansen; many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Allan Johnson; siblings: Eunice Adriansen and Rosie (Ralph) VandenBush; in-laws: Richard (Nettie) Carter, Vivian Walker, Bill Rommel, Albert Britten, father-in-law and mother-in-law: William and Julia Carter; nieces and nephews. Private family services have been held by Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory. Our family would like to extend our deep appreciation to the caregivers at Rennes Health and Rehab, Dr. Mark Jenson and the AseraCare Hospice staff. Dad, thank you for your love and guidance. You are now together with mom and at peace with your God. We will never forget you. -Love, your girls.
