Wencil Thomas Konop

Wencil Konop, 89, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. The son of the late Wencil and Lucille Konop was born on May 10, 1928. He married Beatrice J. Kriescher on December 10, 1949 and she preceded him in death in December of 2007. They were blessed with five children: Judy, Jim, Shirley, David, and Sandy. He farmed for years and then later moved to Denmark and worked at Fontenoy Implement until he got hurt and was unable to work anymore.

Survivors include his children: Jim Konop of Sturgeon Bay, Joe (Shirley) Konop of Norman and their children, Rich (Jamie) Dewey and granddaughter Emily of Texas, Matthew (Lisa) of Norman and granddaughter Madeline; David Konop of Francis Creek and his daughters: Nicole of Manitowoc, Kristina of Kewaunee, and grandson Bentley; Sandy (Pat) Huben of Pulaski and their children Taylor and Dylan; Brothers-in-law and their wives: Elton (Janet) Kriescher, Eugene (Judy) Kriescher, and Jackie Kriescher; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; daughter Judy; sister Theresa (Leonard) Mueller; brother Bernie Konop; brother-in-law Don Kriescher.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home- Denmark Chapel, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark, on Thursday, April 19, from 3:00pm until the time of service at 6:30pm. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
