Wayne W. Kaster, 70, Ledgeview, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at a local nursing home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 12, 1944 in Green Bay, son of the late Phillip and Loretta (Josten) Kaster. Wayne graduated from East De Pere High School and served his county in the United States Marine Corps. He drove heavy equipment for the Brown County Landfill where he retired from, and later worked at Georgia Pacific doing janitorial duties. Wayne was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and especially gardening. Survivors include his daughter, Lindsay Kaster, De Pere; one brother, Jerome (Carol) Kaster, De Pere; two sisters: Agatha Albers, Green Bay, and Carol Schultz, Greenleaf; his former wife and dear friend, Elsa Kaster, Oconto Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Bob Albers and Jim Schultz. Family and friends may visit St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Road, Ledgeview, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where the visitation will conclude with a Parish Prayer Service. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Full military honors will follow the Mass.
