W. James Huelskamp

W. James Huelskamp (Jim) passed away peacefully early on November 16th, 2018 surrounded by family and close friends. He was born on April 26th, 1938 to the late Wilfred James and Jane (Simonson) Huelskamp in Oak Park, Illinois.

He attended university at Marquette where he completed a B.A. in Accounting. He then went on to obtain his MBA from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Immediately after school, he began working in data processing as a systems analyst for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance in Milwaukee, WI. He would ultimately spend his entire career working for the same company until he retired.

He was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending mass at St. Norbert Abbey. He was also an ardent sports fan, particularly of the Marquette Golden Eagles, Milwaukee Brewers, and Green Bay Packers. His hobbies in life included his extensive music equipment and collection as well as compiling a very detailed family genealogy.

He is survived by his only brother, Paul Huelskamp, sister-in-law Paula Huelskamp, and niece Sarah Huelskamp; all of Portland, Oregon. He will be buried at the Catholic Cemetery of New Ulm, Minnesota where his grandfather is buried.
