Virginia Martha (Joosten) Haese

Virginia M. “Jean” Haese, age 88, currently of Appleton, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born in the Town of Vandenbroeck on May 24, 1929 to the late Chris and Clara (Evers) Joosten. On May 15, 1948 she married Donald Haese. Jean enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, and when they lived on the farm in Greenleaf, she worked the farm alongside her family. She loved taking pictures of family and friends, and just spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Don, her daughter, Delores (Jerry) Lange, daughter in law, Gertie Haese, grandchildren; Chris (Tanya) Lange, Terry Lange, Nick (fiance Niki Manders) Haese and Jennie (Jason) Wisnefske. She is further survived by five great grandchildren; Brady Lange, Trevor and Spencer Lange, Karlee and Finnlee Wisnefske. Preceding her in death are her parents, her son, Greg Haese, as well as five brothers and three sisters. Family and friends may call at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 437 Turner St., Wrightstown, on Friday, February 23, from 11:00am until 12:45pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Mike Gehl officiating.
