Virginia E. Schultz, 92, Denmark, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born November 14, 1920 in Nappanee, IN, daughter to the late Milton and Agnes (Newcomer) Berger. She married Carl Schultz in 1940, and together farmed west of Denmark. Virginia attended North Central College, Naperville, IL. She was a former Denmark Branch Librarian and piano teacher. She was a Bellin Hospital volunteer and Girl Scout Leader. She was lifetime member of Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark, where she was organist for many years. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Carla Laubach and Renee (Ronald Baer) Schultz; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Katharine Laubach, and Ian and Mia Schultz-Baer; four nieces and two nephews. Family and friends may call Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark, with the Rev. Henry Yoap officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
